Playing with Photos Online

Yesterday, I was playing on facebook and I noticed someone posted a photo that has been played with. They used a site called Photofunia.com What a cute site.

Anyways...you go and upload a photo...then you get to insert it into different images. There are all types. Frames, Movie Stars, Backgrounds etc. Here is one of my son...

There is a little box you have to check that says they won't share your photo...so make sure you check that. Then go and have fun playing.

One2One Badges

I wanted to share this site with you. It is a wonderful site I found yesterday and joined. I am now a proud member of one2one network!

I saw these on One2One Network...They look Yummy!!!

Cookies for my picky kids

I just received this information about Strawberry Milano Cookies! Oh my...they look good. My baby girl loves Milano cookies. Her favorite are the mint ones...but what a nice change for lunch.

Getting back into the groove of things!

Well...It has been a long time since you have heard from me! I have been busy shopping, cleaning and getting kids ready for school. Over the last few months we have been up to lots of fun adventures.

One thing we started looking into was re-usable snack baggies. I found a few patterns online. These ones are so cute. Made out of little pockets!!

I ended up following an online video about making the old fashioned fold down type snack baggies out of one fabric. My kids love them.

Here is a photo of our first batch:

I have been putting these in their lunchboxes with crackers, chips or whatever dry items I feel like. They love them.

We also purchased some stainless steel water bottles to try this year. That will be interesting to try. I couldn't find any sleeves to put them in so I imagine I will purchase some online next week or check back at Target. They get so cold when you hold them!! We are trying to be a little more green this year!

I still have no clue what food to pack these girls. They don't help much in ideas. They only share what they don't like!! Figures.

This week we have tried Chicken Sandwiches, Stir-Fry with Brown Rice and Salads.

Ok...So I am terrible at blogging! But...I'm going to try and catch up a bit.

This week I did some shopping at Publix. I never made it to any other store. I figured I would try and stay out of local stores.

Here is a breakdown of my savings this month!

3/14 20.60
3/28 24.47
3/30 31.82
3/30 18.06

4/1 19.58
4/6 37.94
4/9 13.44
4/16 91.12
4/18 8.00 (paid 0.00)
$265.03 total without much effort!!! (That covers Piano and much more this month!!)

I think I am starting to understand what I am supposed to do to save.
Going to Publix takes a long time with coupons...but they want to really double check the coupons soooo much. It is so frustrating.

Walking around with my little coupon book is really hard, though. I am beginning to think I need something bigger and more organized. If I can get the courage to use it in public...LOL.

First time using Coupons and Sales!

Well...This was our first week using coupons and trying to really crack down on our budget! We arrived at Publix without our coupons...haaa...Figures!! What better way to start saving then to forget your coupons!

We made due with coupons we found in the store along with sales.

This week Publix had tons of BOGO free items.

Our first adventure cost $65 and we saved $25! Not to bad for having $0.00 coupons when we walked in!

Later, I watched how to coupon videos online at We Use Coupons! I can't believe how many people are "couponing" around here! I had no clue you could combine and use on Buy One Get One free sales! It is an amazing thing!

I'm going to experiment and see how much I can save. I have a plan....Save up as much as I can...Save all my receipts....Add it all up....and take a vacation when it reaches enough money! Hubby loves that idea! Haaa....What do you think?

Ok...So yesterday I went to Walgreens. I spent $20.00 and save $18.50. I bought things that hadn't been on sale at publix. Wet wipes, hair ties, barrettes, Easter Candy and Gum (got to love the kids eating gum). After Walgreens, I dropped off baby coupons to a friend. I will be recruiting her to join my sales adventures as well!!

Next stop, Kmart. I lost it at Kmart. I only saved $4.00 on my spin brush toothbrushes. They had been on sale from $8.98 at Walgreens to $5.47 less the $2.00 coupon. Pretty good deal!

Not too bad for one day. Today I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased Touch N Brush. Everyone needs this (NOT!) LOL...You can tell this was a purchase for a 7 year old! Anyways, it was 20% off with the coupon so 4.00 off! Very good. Cheaper then all the other stores and it came with a toothbrush for dad.

Now I have all my coupons organized in my coupon holder. I don't have the one that is like a baseball card collection. I can't imagine carrying that around. I have a small little bag one that I purchased online. Very sweet looking...Glow Girl Fibers!

This is the pattern I have! I love it. I carry it in my purse all the time! I labeled the tabs by isle so it easy to use! I also had the back full of all the other stores...like Kmart, BB&B and gift cards. It is so much easier to actually use them now! (Thanks Glow Girl!)
